Jesaja 50:2

SV	Waarom kwam Ik, en er was niemand, [waarom] riep Ik, en niemand antwoordde? Is Mijn hand dus gans kort geworden, dat zij niet verlossen kan, of is er in Mij geen kracht om uit te redden? Ziet, door Mijn schelding maak Ik de zee droog, Ik stel de rivieren [tot] een woestijn, dat haar vis stinkt, omdat er geen water is, en sterft van dorst.
WLC	מַדּ֨וּעַ בָּ֜אתִי וְאֵ֣ין אִ֗ישׁ קָרָֽאתִי֮ וְאֵ֣ין עֹונֶה֒ הֲקָצֹ֨ור קָצְרָ֤ה יָדִי֙ מִפְּד֔וּת וְאִם־אֵֽין־בִּ֥י כֹ֖חַ לְהַצִּ֑יל הֵ֣ן בְּגַעֲרָתִ֞י אַחֲרִ֣יב יָ֗ם אָשִׂ֤ים נְהָרֹות֙ מִדְבָּ֔ר תִּבְאַ֤שׁ דְּגָתָם֙ מֵאֵ֣ין מַ֔יִם וְתָמֹ֖ת בַּצָּמָֽא׃
Trans.	madû‘a bā’ṯî wə’ên ’îš qārā’ṯî wə’ên ‘wōneh hăqāṣwōr qāṣərâ yāḏî mipəḏûṯ wə’im-’ên-bî ḵōḥa ləhaṣṣîl hēn bəḡ^a‘ărāṯî ’^aḥărîḇ yām ’āśîm nəhārwōṯ miḏəbār tiḇə’aš dəḡāṯām mē’ên mayim wəṯāmōṯ baṣṣāmā’:

AC	ב מדוע באתי ואין איש קראתי ואין עונה--הקצור קצרה ידי מפדות ואם אין בי כח להציל הן בגערתי אחריב ים אשים נהרות מדבר תבאש דגתם מאין מים ותמת בצמא
ASV	Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stink, because there is no water, and die for thirst.
BE	Why, then, when I came, was there no man? and no one to give answer to my voice? has my hand become feeble, so that it is unable to take up your cause? or have I no power to make you free? See, at my word the sea becomes dry, I make the rivers a waste land: their fish are dead for need of water, and make an evil smell.
Darby	Wherefore did I come, and there was no man? I called, and there was none to answer? Is my hand at all shortened that I cannot redeem, or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make rivers a wilderness; their fish stink because there is no water, and die for thirst.
ELB05	Warum bin ich gekommen, und kein Mensch war da? Habe gerufen, und niemand antwortete? Ist meine Hand etwa zu kurz zur Erlösung? Oder ist in mir keine Kraft, um zu erretten? Siehe, durch mein Schelten trockne ich das Meer aus, mache Ströme zu einer Wüste: es stinken ihre Fische, weil kein Wasser da ist, und sie sterben vor Durst.
LSG	Je suis venu: pourquoi n'y avait-il personne? J'ai appelé: pourquoi personne n'a-t-il répondu? Ma main est-elle trop courte pour racheter? N'ai-je pas assez de force pour délivrer? Par ma menace, je dessèche la mer, Je réduis les fleuves en désert; Leurs poissons se corrompent, faute d'eau, Et ils périssent de soif.
Sch	Warum war niemand da, als ich kam, antwortete niemand, als ich rief? Ist etwa meine Hand zu kurz zum Erlösen, oder ist bei mir keine Kraft zum Retten? Siehe, mit meinem Schelten trockne ich das Meer aus; ich mache Ströme zur Wüste, daß ihre Fische vor Wassermangel faulen und vor Durst sterben!
